Easy money:

Successfully deliver the computer parts to complete the first mission.
During the second mission (to collect the scientist), when you return to
your destination, do not contact your employer just yet. Instead, sell
the shields and guns from the your ship for over 400,000 credits.
You do not need them, as you will only fly that ship on this mission.

Unlimited credits:
------------------
Enable the script editor and start it. Make a new script and name it as
desired. Select the "New line" option. Look for the "Add money to player"
line in the "Trade" section. Look for "Number" in the following menu.
Enter a large number. Save the script. You can press R to run the script
when you need credits.

X - Beyond the Frontier CHEAT

Hex Cheat:
----------
Save your game, and note how many credits you have. Open up the
savegame in an hex editor (the first save game is named X0.SAV
then X1.SAV etc etc) DO NOT try and edit X99.SAV, it's the save
game list.

Open up windows calculator, switch to scientific view. type in
your credits *withouth the comma* ie. if you have 298.35 credits,
you type in 29835 and click Hex.

It will give you the value of 12A, since in hex each number is
represented by 2 digits, simply put a zero at the start so it
makes 012A.

Now search for this value in the savegame. You will find it twice
and you must change it in both places. The first location is near
BC90, although this *can* change...

To reiterate, convert the whole number *without* the comma. change
both places!

Making fast money:
------------------

- Hire the Teladi Albatross
- Buy a Solar Power Plant
- Transport it to the Greater Profit system
- Deploy it near the crystal plant
- Buy crystals at the crystal plant and stock them in your solar
power plant

- Check the price of energy cells at the other two solar plants in
the system and adjust yours to make good profit fast

After getting some money, buy a telardinium mine and a freighter.
These produce profit fast and with no attendance like the solar
plant, except to get the credits

Hints:
------
The best thing you can do in the beginning is to buy and sell energy
units. Buy energy from solar power plants that have a lot of energy
(they'll sell it cheaper), and sell them to various factories that
are low on energy to make a fast profit.

Once you've saved up about 15,000 credits, talk to one of the transports
in the system and have it accompany you when you buy a power plant of
your own. You'll need the transport to carry the new power plant to the
system in which you want to open up shop. Find a system that's low on
power plants, and park yours next to a cluster of factories to rake in
the big bucks.

Don't attack or destroy any Xenon buildings until you reach the
appropriate quest. You won't be able to complete the quests required
to win the game if you destroy one of the crucial Xenon targets before
the quest flag is set.

Save the game after the first murder occurs. The game

Some quests usually involve killing the same thing. Rather than doing
them one by one, do these quests all at the same time. For example,
you may get a quest that involves killing several skeletons, skeleton
warriors, and skeleton mages. Because they are all in the same area,
stack all these quests at the same time and then do them together to
save valuable time.

Easy skills:
------------
Use the following trick to gain easy skill experience to level up your
skill ranks. When you start, the "Auto-Attack" option is turned off by
default. Turn it on by pressing O or [Esc] during game play. Click the
"Options" button, then the "Game" tab. At the near bottom should be an
unchecked box labeled "Auto attack". Check it. You no longer have to tap
[Normal Attack] to attack. Resume the game and play as usual, doing all
the quests you can, killing monsters, selling useless items, etc., until
you reach level 10 to 14. This strategy may differ depending on your
class, but the gain is universal in that you will gain skill experience
for both sword and magic. Unequip all your weapons and find an area
where you can "Punch" (normal attack) a orange-named (strong level)
monster for 1 damage. Although 1 point of damage is best, doing 2 to 10
is fine, but you will gain less skill experience. Click on the monster,
press [Normal Attack], and your character should start attacking the
monster constantly, without you having to do anything except change to
another target once the previous one dies. If you must use skills like
Regeneration to keep healing, it is recommended you get a "Life Absorb
Ring", which will constantly absorb HP from the damage you deal to a
monster. To make this even easier and require less attention, play the
game in windowed mode. It can then be minimized if desired and check
every few minutes to switch targets. This trick will give a constantly
supply you with skill experience while you do other things on your
computer. Recommended monsters to do this on are Plant Toads (Green
Despair), Lynxhorn Zombies (Bloody Ice), and Desert Foxes (Desert
Scream). Find a "Very Weak" monster zone. Get a lot of MP pots and mass
kill the monsters using nothing but your skills. Use magic if you want

A Bark in the Dark CHEAT

Hints:

1 - Go left. Take the mouse food and the empty glass.
2 - Go left again and take the dog bone and the statue that the bone is on.
3 - Go left again. Between the door and the couch there is a piece of the
baseboard that doesn’t look quite right. Take it.
4 - Go right to the mouse cage. Put some mouse food on top of the tower at
the right of the cage. When the mouse goes to get the food, he will knock
over the cup.

5 - Place the piece of baseboard (wood) over the knocked over glass. It will look
like a see-saw. Take the statue (sculpture) and put it on the piece of wood.
6 - Once again, put some mouse food on top of the tower. The mouse should land on

Remember that four-digit number? Well, take the first number and click the button

Do the 9 levels and the code that you became (for example 3494) and then click so often the telefonbeep like the
code that you became. On the garten put the mouse food in the right order so that the light go on.
